A handmade egg rack from Scottish Spalted Beech with a lacquered finish. Designed to hold seven eggs it has an organic and natural shape with smooth sides all around, top and bottom. It features for interesting natural splating markings and grain and a range of colours.

Spalting is a natural process that changes the colour of the wood as it ages. On this item, a water based lacquer was used to capture the spalting colours clearly and provide a clean and hard wearing surface.

This rack measures approx 20 x 12 x 2 cm (10 x 5 x 1 inches) and has seven holes to take small up to large poultry eggs.

This rack has our "anyfink, Made in Scotland" logo branded into the underside and has felt feet to protect surfaces.

Please have a look around our other items and contact us if we can help further.
