A beautiful, uniquely patterned, square shaped tealight holder, made from spalted beech wood.
Our square tealight holders are handmade from scottish spalted beech wood, which has been felled and processed by ourselves. Spalting is a process that occurs naturally as the wood ages. It creates unique and interesting patterns that are only visible once the wood has been cut.
The photos show an example of the patterns and markings to expect on this product. All our products are made to best show the mix of lighter and darker spalting colours and so each item will have it's own unique pattern. The item you receive will be one of a kind.
You can choose the finish of this item:
A water based lacquer that captures the spalting colours clearly (Light)
An oil based finish which results in a darker more matt finish (Dark)
