A charming little single tealight holder in a teardrop shape, made from Scottish spalted beech with interesting spalting colours and patterns throughout.
This unique holder has been made from a section of Scottish spalted beech with a mix of lighter and darker brown grain and markings with smooth sides and top surface. These markings and colours will vary slightly from the item pictured here as each is unique.
Spalting is a natural process that changes the colour of the wood as it ages. On this item, a water based lacquer was used to capture the spalting colours clearly and provide a clean and hard wearing surface.
The holder measures approx 11 x 7 x 3.5 cm (4 x 3 x 1.5 inches) and is supplied with a tealight.
The underside of the piece is branded with our "anyfink, Made in Scotland" logo.
